On October 25th I had to go North West to Gdansk and I was cycling through many forests and the trees have changed their color, that was beautiful. I enjoyed cycling the almost empty roads.
At about km 70, the navigation system sent me down a hill onto a field and the road became a small path, nothing I wanted to cycle on. I checked the environment on google maps and the only option was a detour of about 4km.
After another 10km the landscape changed and the region became flat again and I was driving on a very quiet road, which was next to a bigger one and I liked it, since there was almost no traffic.
At half past 6 I arrived at my hotel, but the owner did not all me to take my bike into the room and showed me a place in the backyard where I should have parked it. But I refused to do so, the place was not secure at all and I cancelled the hotel. 5 minutes later I booked another one Hotel Wolne Miasto Old Town Gdańsk and it was no problem to take my bike into the room.
I took a shower and went into the city to have some food and to take some pictures and enjoyed the beautiful city…
