I had an early and decent breakfast and continued to repair the bike. It took me a while to fix it since the wire has to be moved through the frame, but I finally made it and departed.
I drove towards Kühlungsborn (a nice spot) and followed the coastline until Wismar.
Since I left Wismar, I cycled towards Lübeck and came to a region which was very boring, almost no villages, no food shops, nothing. I then cycled to Rothenhusen, where I had an early dinner, which was barely needed since I was very exhausted.
Once being back to normal, I continued to cycle the remaining 70k to Hamburg and when crossing the city limits, it started to rain and I thought: „Heaven is crying for joy, because you are returning!“
I cycled through the city and finally I reached the townhall after 1900k and 12 days I had reached my final destination for that trip.
Overall I must say that this was a nice trip, I have had some downs and the beginning was not easy, but I expected such situations and was honestly looking for it. Yes, there are other regions and there is better timing than this area in October, but it was a very nice experience and I again found out what my body and my brain is able to do, if needed.
