It was really cold when I departed in the morning at 9am. I drove out of Kaunas and crossed a river and had to right a steep hill. Then I had to go down south again.
Despite the temperature the weather was nice and the region was also beautiful. I was cycling a little street, which was next to the E67 or I had to go onto the E67. This was okay, since the hard should was very wide and I could speed up.
Later, at abour km 90 I crossed the border to Poland and it started to rain. The shower was short and I was now used to such a weather. I continued to cycle the E67 and had to leave it here and there since the road was blocked for cyclists. But there was a smaler road next to it and I had no problems following my way.
I came into Masuria and the region became much more hilly and I had to go trough more and more forests.
Later I arrived my destination, a village named Olecko and I checked in. The hotel was beautiful and many people were arriving, again a party, I had a dejavu 🙂 But luckily my room was in another building and I had a quite night. Before going to the hotel I bought some food, which I ate in my room…
